We are the only Govt. Polytechnic in Bijapur District of Chhattisgarh, in the current scenario there is a vast scope of employment and self employment for technically educated, trained and skilled people in this developing stage of Bijapur. At present following trades are being run in the institution which are recognized by AICTE. The courses are: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering , Diploma in Civil Engineering and Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Mechanical engineering is a discipline of engineering that applies the principles of physics and materials science for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
Civil engineering is a specializing in the design, construction, and maintenance of physical and natural-built environment, such as roads, bridges, canals, dams and buildings.
Electrical engineering is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism.
